How it works

Referral Codes

Under the Referral Program, may provide you, as Referrer, with a unique alphanumeric or other code (the “Referral Code”) to distribute to eligible individuals each to become new Users. You acknowledge and agree that: (a) team have the right to limit the number of times you may use or share your Referral Code, (b) you have no ownership rights in any form over the Referral Code, and (c) team may reclaim, deactivate, invalidate or terminate your Referral Code at any time at sole discretion.

Sharing Referral Links; Restrictions

As a Referrer, you may invite eligible individuals to become new Users by distributing your Referral Code directly and instructing them to input your Referral Code during the sign-up process. Referral Codes should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. You must disclose that you are eligible to receive a referral reward in connection with a Referee’s use of your Referral Code. Referral Codes should not be published or distributed on commercial websites, and you are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. Without limiting the foregoing, you expressly agree to the restrictions listed below:

Earning Referral Rewards

As a Referrer, you are eligible to earn referral rewards in connection with each Referee you refer (subject to certain maximum limits and the other terms in these Referral Terms). Each Referrer will be eligible to receive a Referral Reward in connection with each Eligible Trade. The Referral Reward shall be an amount equal to (a) the Referee Fee Revenue for each Eligible Trade multiplied by (b) the applicable Referral Percentage. Referral Rewards will be credit to the Referrer within 7 days of the Eligible Trade.

How do I participate in the Bittrex Referral Program?

Beginning Monday, March 9, 2020, eligible Bittrex customers may earn rewards by sharing Bittrex.

It's easy! All you have to do is share your referral code with your friends and you will earn 10% on ALL commissions they spend (subject to certain limitations as set forth in the Bittrex Referral Program Terms).

How do I share Bittrex with my friends?

Find your referral code by going to your Account and clicking the Referral Program tab. In just one click, you can share your referral code via Facebook, Twitter, Telegram or Email

If you are on the Bittrex Mobile App you can share your referral code by going to Settings and clicking the "Refer a Friend" tab. Once in this tab, you can either copy your referral code or directly send share your code to friends by clicking the "Share My Code" tab at the bottom of the screen.

How do I earn rewards from my referrals?

Once your friends sign up for a new account, you will earn 10% on ALL commissions of the quote currency from every trade made (subject to certain limitations as set forth in the Bittrex Referral Program Terms).

When will I receive my referral reward? 

Referral rewards will be calculated every day at 11:59 UTC and credited within 7 days. Exceptions include airdrops on U.S. observed holidays and during unexpected network outages. If either one of theses exceptions do not apply, please submit a support ticket here. 

How can I see who I have referred? 

Users are unable to view the amount of people or who they have referred using their Bittrex Referral code. This information will not be provided by Bittrex.

How many people can I share my referral code with? 

There is no limit to the number of people you can refer, although Bittrex reserves the right to alter or change the referral program at anytime. 

What form will the referral reward be deposited as?

Your referral reward will be credited to your Bittrex account in the quote currency of the trade that was placed (subject to certain limitations as set forth in the Bittrex Referral Program Terms).

For example, in the case of a trade that took place in BTC-ETH, the referral reward will be paid in BTC.

Why did I not receive my referral reward?

If your account is disabled at the time of the trade/at the time of the referral reward airdrop you will not receive the referral reward. To see reasons why your account could be disabled, please click here. 

If you are not FIAT enabled to trade USD trading pairs or located in a non-Fiat eligible state, you will not receive the referral reward. If your account was created before September 4th, 2018 and you are located in a FIAT eligible location, your account should already be eligible for USD trading. If this is not the case, please click here to submit a FIAT application in order to enable your account for USD trading.
