TLDR: Swim team has taken the next step in embracing the community-driven approach to growth by launching its Cross-Chain Ambassador Program focused on establishing Swim’s presence across all the supported ecosystems.

Members of the ambassador program will belong to communities from each of the eight chains Swim supports and will be positioned to help others reap the benefits of using Swim through focusing on their specific ecosystem’s needs and desires.

Why did Swim create this program?

Being a cross-chain bridge, Swim’s users come from all walks of life. Whether you’re an ETH user looking to venture into a new SOL NFT, or an Avax gamer looking to chase new BNB yields, Swim’s liquidity network offers users the ability to pursue their most lucrative opportunities without having to worry about the cross-chain complexities. With all that being said, Swim created its Cross-Chain Ambassador program to leverage the excitement and dedication of the community to help increase Swim’s exposure across the growing number of ecosystems and communities Swim supports.

Who is Swim looking for?

Dedicated & Experienced DeFi Users.

Swim’s Cross-Chain Ambassadors are passionate about Swim and have the desire to help educate others about what Swim is building. Within your ecosystem of choice, you will be responsible for helping spread the word about Swim and generating excitement amongst fellow ecosystem members. While you will be working closely with members of Swim’s team and receiving ample guidance, Swim is looking for Ambassadors that will take it upon themselves to put forth the time and effort to help achieve the shared goals.

Through leveraging your experience and expertise within your given ecosystem, Swim hopes you will help educate others on what there is to gain by using Swim. Ambassadors will act as the liaison between community members for each ecosystem and Swim’s core team. With being an Ambassador comes great responsibility. You will act as a representation of Swim’s community & team, so this position is not to be taken lightly. By combing your dedication and experiences with the resources available to you through the program, the possibilities of what you can achieve are endless.

An ideal candidate would have:

• A knack for connecting with people within their ecosystems
• Past experience utilizing popular dApps and resources on their given chain
• A strong excitement and understanding of Swim

Expectations

A solid understanding of the Swim product and your ecosystem

1. You should be able to explain Swim, its main use cases, and what makes Swim unique compared to other cross-chain bridges ~ The creation of memes and other Swim-related content to help educate and entertain the community is highly encouraged.
2. Knowledgeable about potential use cases for Swim in your given ecosystem and the ability to spread the word effectively ~ Understanding how what users can gain from using Swim vs. the other options at their disposal
3. Ability to answer commonly asked questions about the protocol, roadmap, and other common discussion points ~ As ambassadors, it is your role to help new Swimmers get to know the protocol, get excited about what's to come, and generate hype.

Help generate excitement and hype for the ecosystem you are representing

1. Proactively start and engage conversations about cross-chain bridging and the benefits of using Swim to move assets across chains ~ This includes active participation in discussions and activities which are popular amongst community members in your given ecosystem
2. Share entertaining and educational content about Swim and the community ~ Actively participating in Swim’s Discord is required as this is where Ambassadors will get access to the information and resources that they can share with external communities
3. Ambassadors are not to senselessly shill Swim or spam discussions ~ It is crucial that ambassadors act responsibly and in the best interest of the community to which they belong to

Requirements

• Applicant must fill out this Google form and answer all the questions
• Applicants will be prompted to select one ecosystem to which they belong to and then must complete a short questionnaire

Note: Applicants must be members of Swim’s Discord to be eligible to join.
