Browsing through the Spin news on a daily basis, choosing Spin among other dApps on NEAR to trade, supporting the project on Twitter, actively chatting on Discord, and joining community calls? — all these are symptoms that you might be a Spinosaur.

Who are Spinosaurs?

In November 2022, Spin heard lots of positive comments about Guild Wars — an event on Discord and Crew3 that engaged active members of various communities in completing challenges and quests. This time, there’s only one guild — Spinosaurs, the knights and wizards of Spin who help the project grow the community and onboard new members to the army.

The rewards to be received by the Spinosaurs Gang members correlate with the amount of XP they earn for completing Spin’s challenges on Crew3. That’s why the number of Spinosaurs is limited to 600 members — the team wants the airdrop to be decent. But this limitation implies some responsibility on Spinosaurs: if you are inactive and only complete a couple of challenges on Crew3 and then disappear for a few weeks, Spin will have to redeem the Spinosaur role from you and offer this opportunity to another member of the fam.

How to join the Spinosaurs gang?

Ex Guild Wars participants will be the first to be invited to become Spinosaurs. They have already shown their interest and activity in November, so offering them a priority this time sounds fair! Though Guild Warriors will have only 24 hours to use their priority right and after that applying to become a Spinosaur will be available to all Spinions.

To get the Spinosaur role and be able to complete the Crew3 challenges, users will just need to react under a relevant post on the Discord server. The first challenges will start appearing on Crew3 shortly after the campaign starts, and each time a new quest goes live, all Spinosaurs will be notified in their channel on DS. In short, no worries, you will not get lost.
