What is the peaq Ambassador Program?

The peaq Ambassador Program is the best way to get deeply integrated into the peaq community and earn rewards for helping peaq achieve its mission. peaq Ambassadors are proactive community leaders who champion the mission of building an Economy of Things that works for the 100%, not just the 1%, acting as the face and voice of peaq.

This program aims to give more power to the peaqonauts. Unlock your potential while refining your skills, learning, and helping to build a stronger community and peaqosystem. 

‍How does the program work? 

The peaq Ambassador Program has a multi-tier structure. In the current version, the program is split into two tiers: Ambassadors and Senior Ambassadors. Both roles have their own set of responsibilities and rewards, and while everyone starts as an Ambassador, there is an opportunity to be promoted to Senior Ambassador based on dedication and impactful contributions.

‍Roles and Responsibilities

Ambassadors

Ambassadors play a critical role in expanding and nurturing the peaqosystem. In this iteration of the program, the focus is on community building and ecosystem expansion. Over time, the program will grow to include more diverse responsibilities, such as:

• Development & QA
• Machine Deployments
• Product Feedback & QA
• Team Referrals (HR)
• Horizontal Community Expansion
• & more.

Ambassadors who consistently showcase their commitment and impact may be promoted to the Senior Ambassador level.

‍Senior Ambassadors

Senior Ambassadors are selected from the pool of Ambassadors who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and impact within the program. Although not a role you can apply for directly, you can earn the Senior Ambassador status through sustained dedication and outstanding contributions.

Senior Ambassadors hold the same responsibilities as regular Ambassadors, with the addition of extra responsibilities, including leading groups of Ambassadors, assisting with projects, and mentoring newer members of the program.

‍General responsibilities for all Ambassadors

• Be a spokesperson for peaq
• Nurture your understanding of peaq as it grows – i.e., stay up to date
• Create and/or suggest ideas, feedback, or opportunities
• Call out potential scams or malicious activity
• Guide and help educate the growing peaq community
• Represent peaq wherever you go – in the digital and physical worlds
• Foster collaboration within the community, Web3, and beyond
• Empower and educate the community through mentorship and education
• Attend events online and IRL
• Provide strategic support, insights, and perspectives

‍Role-Specific Responsibilities

Ambassadors apply to the program as general contributors, without specific titles, but contributions naturally align with one of these focus areas: Ecosystem, Community, Communications, and Tech (coming soon). Based on your unique skills and interests, you may take on role-specific responsibilities such as:

‍Ecosystem Ambassadors

• Ecosystem Growth: Bringing new projects to the peaqosystem (DePINs & dApps). Identify and recommend projects for integration with peaq via the peaq Grant Program.
• Strategic Partnerships: Conduct research to identify potential Web3 integrations, enterprise and startup partners, actively assisting in establishing strategic collaborations.

‍Community Ambassadors

• Internationalization & Localization: Expand peaq's international presence by setting up community channels for non-English speakers or communities in different countries or regions. Translate content and engage with local communities. Help people in other countries adopt peaq DePINs or even build DePINs. Channels should run on Discord, Telegram, and Twitter, sharing peaq updates accurately to drive discussion. These channels should encourage education and discussion while growing in terms of size and engagement. Ensure they’re moderated in line with peaq’s moderation guidelines, and that your community actively contributes to peaq’s community initiatives.
• Social Media & Community Growth: Drive engagement on various channels. Engage, nurture, and grow both the global and language-specific peaq communities through Discord, Telegram, X, and IRL events.
• Educational Resource Creation: Create educational material for the community.

‍Comms Ambassadors

• Promotional Campaigns & Marketing: Focus on highlighting peaq’s unique selling points (USPs) and benefits, and design and execute campaigns to make peaq go viral.
• Events & Meetups: Organize peaq events, attend DePIN events, and represent peaq at horizontal events tailored to specific industries (Healthcare, Automotive, Retail, etc.).
• Education Resource Creation: Develop and contribute educational material for the community.

• Ambassador channels in Discord and Telegram with the peaq team
• Ambassador Discord Role
• Add ‘peaq Ambassador’ to social media profiles
• A care package containing peaq-branded digital assets like social media backgrounds, stickers, and more.

‍Monthly Application Cycles for Ambassadors

Applications to join the Ambassador Program follow a monthly cycle. Prospective ambassadors are encouraged to increase their chances of selection by actively engaging with the community, answering questions, creating content, or assisting in regional communities. Building community reputation and demonstrating alignment with peaq’s goals are critical for success in the selection process.

‍Merit-Based Ambassador Progression

Progress within the Ambassador Program is based on merit. Consistent contributions, dedication, and positive impact within the peaq ecosystem increase your chances of advancing within the program.

‍Quarterly Review for Inactive Ambassadors

To maintain an active and engaged community, ambassadors undergo a quarterly review. Ambassadors who are inactive may risk losing their status to ensure the program is impactful and dynamic.
