Details

After an online kickoff event, participants will attend technical workshops, mentorship sessions and form teams in order to build and submit a hackathon project. With a prize pool and a wide variety of bounties from leading companies in web3 who are joining as hackathon partners, there’s a challenge for every kind of builder and non-tech web3 enthusiast looking to explore the world of digital identities.

Encode Club is also announcing that Lens Protocol and Biconomy are on board as hackathon partners (more companies to be announced soon).

Participants will use Onyx’s open-source Digital Identity SDK and APIs and software from the hackathon partners to develop exciting digital identity use cases across various tracks including web3 social, scalability, and account abstraction.

How does it work?

The hackathon starts on September 12th with an online launch event. You’ll meet the Encode and Onyx teams, as well as the hackathon partners³, who will tell you all about the available bounties and upcoming technical workshops!

The launch event will be followed by a series of workshops hosted by Encode Club, Onyx by J.P. Morgan, and the hackathon partners, aiming to help you build and ship a hackathon project in just four weeks.

You’ll have three weeks to build and submit a project. The tem will be there to help you every step of the way. Program manager will be in touch regularly to check on your progress, and you’ll be able to book check-in calls to get direct support. Encode Club hackathon partners will be active in the dedicated Discord channels and available to answer your technical questions.

The best submissions will be invited to pitch live in our hackathon finale event and compete for the top prizes.

Not invited to the finale? You may still be one of the prizewinners, so make sure to attend the event to find out and support the finalists.

Ready to participate?

Encode Club will be in touch with more details about hackathon logistics soon, including the workshop schedule, dedicated Discord channels, 1–1 support and more.

Biconomy: Best use of Onyx SSI with Biconomy SDK

SSI unlocks many use cases in the web3 world. Perhaps you want to create a credit score system for onchain loans, prove voting eligibility criteria for onchain votes, or gate content based on sensitive details like age. Think through solutions that combine both the Onyx SSI SDK with the Biconomy SDK to build out identity solutions in Web3 with powerful UX.

  • 2x $1,000 in USDC

Biconomy: Best One Click Experience

One feature of the Biconomy SDK allows you to batch multiple transactions into one transaction, thus letting your users perform multiple tasks in one click. Think through use cases in defi or actions in NFT marketplaces.
