As usual, you can join the Quest at any time during the Quest period, but to be eligible for rewards you must achieve some basic conditions and you must continue to own one or more Bullsharks or Capys throughout the Quest period.

A Special SuiNS Promotion
As part of the ongoing efforts to show its appreciation for Questers and SuiFrens holders, Sui is introducing the biggest promotion ever for SuiNS.
During the initial seven days of Quest 3 (October 12 to October 19), SuiFrens owners will be able to obtain one .sui name (of 10+ characters) for free. One SuiFren can redeem one .sui name using this promotion.
Additionally, for the duration of Quest 3, SuiFrens holders will enjoy 50% off .sui names between 5 - 9 characters, and 10% off .sui names shorter than 5 characters.
Head to SuiNS to take advantage of this promotion. Note that SuiFrens holders must connect with the wallet address that contains their SuiFren to use the promotion.
Special Quest Point Mechanisms
How to score in each game is detailed above. Here’s a brief overview of mechanisms involved for Quest 3.
Point Multipliers and One Time Boosts
For every new dApp you interact with (except SuiNS), you will earn 100 points. So the total reward for interacting with each dApp is 900 points.
There are three possible point multipliers available in Quest 3:
- Loyalty: 15% point boost for addresses that have remained active on Sui in the month after Quest 2 ended. Thanks for being a loyal Sui community member!
- SuiNS: 15% point boost for addresses with linked default .sui names – please note that the point boost is only applied to an address on the days when it has an associated .sui name
- SuiFrens: 10% point boost for addresses on days that they hold more than one SuiFren.
And yes – these multipliers can stack for a total point multiplier of 1.45x!
Daily Caps, Diminishing Returns, and Score Normalization
The projects want to design the Quest leaderboard in a way that encourages fair gameplay and discourage burnouts, so we listened to, and incorporated, your feedback from previous Quests. As such, the team has implemented daily caps for freemium games and diminishing returns for paid games. Score normalization was also included to accommodate for dApps that are “easier” to game. For more details, please refer to the “How to Earn Points” section.
Shinami’s Invisible Wallet FTW
A few participating games, namely Arcade Champions, Panzerdog, Run Legends, World Beyond, and Bushi, utilize Shinami’s Invisible Wallet, Sui Node Service, and Gas Station. To ensure all your rewardable activities are tracked, please remember to follow each game’s instructions on how to connect your game account to your Quest address! Please contact each game’s support for more troubleshooting.
The Rewards
As with previous Quests, there are two SUI reward pools in Quest 3.
For the first set of SUI rewards, the SUI reward pool becomes larger as more participants meet the eligibility criteria of Quest 3.
The table below illustrates how to unlock the full amount of SUI rewards:
For this set of SUI rewards, the participants who rank in the top 10k on the leaderboard will share 30% of the pool, while the remainder of participants who meet the eligibility requirements but do not rank will share 70% of the pool.
The Remaining 1M SUI Reward
You may have noticed that only 4M SUI is unlockable with the above rewards system…so what about the last 1M SUI? In collaboration with the Sui Foundation, up to 1M SUI will be distributed as a bonus to the highest ranked Questers.
Minimum Requirements for Rewards Eligibility
- Participants must hold at least one SuiFren
- Participants must interact with at least five of the 10 participating dApps
- Participants must reach at least 2,500 points
