As with Quest 1, Mysten Labs is partnering with the Sui Foundation to offer another big reward for players: 5M SUI. Comprising two pools of 2.5M SUI, the rewards will be distributed after Quest 2 ends on August 28, 2023, 11:59 p.m. PDT.
For Quest 2, the project expands eligibility to holders of either a SuiFrens Bullshark or Capy collectible. In order to be eligible, you must have a SuiFrens Capy or Bullshark in your account and you can join the Quest at any time during the Quest period (but the earlier the better).
Please note that in order to maintain your eligibility, you must continue to own one or more Bullsharks or Capys throughout the Quest period.
Quest 2 participants can start earning points now by engaging with the following dApps:
- NAVI – native one stop liquidity protocol
- Turbos – hyper-efficient decentralized crypto marketplace
- Scallop – next generation Money Market
- Typus Finance – real yield infrastructure

If you don’t have a SuiFrens Capy or Bullshark right now, you can purchase one via Blue Move or Hyperspace. And don’t forget to buy accessories for your SuiFrens.
How to earn points
You can begin earning points for Quest 2 by interacting on-chain with the dApps above at or after 12:01 a.m. PDT. The exact points schema and leaderboard for Quest 2 will go live next week. But don’t worry that your points aren’t viewable until then – we’re tracking every relevant Quest transaction on Sui.
As with the previous Quest, the Bullshark Quests portal will show a live leaderboard of all active participants for Quest 2. As a SuiFrens Bullshark or Capy holder, you can connect your wallet on the Quests portal to see your current score and ranking on the leaderboard. The portal and leaderboard will go live next week and will update every ten minutes, but remember – you can begin earning points now!
To be eligible for rewards, you must interact with each dApp in Quest 2 (exceptions will be made for participants where geo-restricted apply). Explore their features, set up your accounts, and get engaging.
Mysten Labs reserves the right to change the scoring methodology at any time for any reason, including to combat any behavior deemed to be cheating.
The Rewards
Mysten Labs brings back two reward pools of 2.5M SUI, for a total of 5M SUI provided by the Sui Foundation. The first pool will be shared by the top 10,000 eligible players. The second pool will be divided equally among all other eligible players.
Mysten Labs is currently refining the points and reward structure and will share how to redeem earned points from Quest 2 for SUI rewards next week.
Get your SuiFren and get ready for go-live
Quest 2 will officially begin July 28, 2023 at 12:01 a.m. PDT. You’ve got time to make sure you’re holding a Bullshark or a Capy, so start earning those points! Please note that you can always join the Quest later by adding a SuiFren to your wallet – but if your wallet no longer contains a SuiFren (either by selling it or transferring it to a different wallet), then you will lose any accrued points.
