What are the Benefits of Being a Meter Ambassador?

There are plenty of benefits to being a Meter Ambassador.

First of all, you’ll play a critical role in achieving Meter’s mission to change the global financial landscape. Meter building uncensorable, sound, stable money that will be the basis of a better, more equitable financial system. And you will be an important part in spreading the word, growing community, and improving systems and processes.

You will also have early access to exclusive events, product previews, and other news before the general public hears about them. You’ll have direct lines of communication and work directly with the Meter team to provide feedback on products, services, ways to grow Meter, and more. And while you’ll work independently, you will have the full support from the Meter team to help achieve shared goals.

You’ll also get some pretty awesome swag for yourself and to distribute at events and to friends and family!

And you will acquire valuable experience working in the crypto industry.

There is a possibility that you will be monetarily compensated for your efforts. Read on to find out more.

Monetary Compensation for Meter Ambassadors

You will certainly be compensated for your work if you are a high-performing Ambassador.

While there will be no monetary compensation when you first begin as an Ambassador, you may be compensated after at least three months if you show high engagement and performance. This is to help us identify the best and brightest ambassadors and retain them.

Compensation will be in the form of MTR or MTRG tokens and can be up to $300 per month, depending on performance, cost of living, and other factors. Compensation may be increased for those who go above and beyond!

Expenses for out-of-pocket costs will be reimbursed but must be approved by a Meter team member.

How Can You Contribute as a Meter Ambassador?

Here are just a few of the ways that you can contribute as a Meter Ambassador:

1. Build online communities in your local language or region
2. Organize Meetups, workshops, and events in your area
3. Create content such as blog posts, videos, podcasts, and more
4. Create memes, graphic designs, and other visual content
5. Promote Meter on social media and help moderate social accounts
6. Improve Meter’s documentation, tutorials, or other technical literature
7. Translate content into your native language
8. Pursue potential collaboration opportunities that could benefit the Meter ecosystem
9. Provide input into strategic decisions via conversations with the Meter team

What are the Qualifications Needed to Become a Meter Ambassador?

Meter team welcome leaders with different backgrounds to join the program. Really looking for are a few common traits:

1. A passion for Meter, crypto, and changing the global financial landscape
2. Experience building communities, on- or off-line
3. Ability and desire to learn and grow

What is the Time Commitment for Being an Ambassador?

Meter team expect a commitment of about five (5) hours per month at the start of your tenure as a Meter Ambassador.

This time may include any work that you perform independently, as well as conference calls and video chats with the Meter team.

Of course, if you’re open to dedicating more time, welcome that! This may also increase your chances of getting compensated for your work.

How Do I Become a Meter Ambassador?

The first step to becoming a Meter Ambassador is to fill out the application here.

The team will then review your application and reach out to you if you’re a good fit.

Then team will have a video chat or two to get to know each other better.
