Details

To participate simply perform your next intended Terra mainnet transaction within the Leap wallet and, if the transaction is eligible, sit back as your LEAP token rewards accrue automatically.

Eligible Transactions

For a wallet to be considered active, and thus eligible for reward, it must perform either a swap, stake, or Anchor deposit (net) within the Leap extension (i.e in-wallet).

Swap

• Eligible : In-wallet swaps

Stake

• Eligible: Stader Staking— Liquid Staking, Stake Pools, Stake +
• Eligible: Vanilla Staking
• Not Eligible : Unstake, Undelegate & Redelegate

Anchor Deposit (Net)

• Net Anchor Deposits = Total Deposits - Total Withdrawals
• Eligible : Anchor deposits
• Not Eligible : Anchor withdraws

Note:

1. Transactions made on protocol dApps where you connect with Leap wallet are not eligible for rewards. The transactions need to be made in-wallet (inside Leap’s UI) in order to be deemed eligible for LEAP token reward.
2. Only mainnet transactions are eligible for rewards

How are my rewards calculated?

LEAP plans to allocate a total rewards pool of up to 125,000 LEAP tokens in the form of LEAP tokens each day while the program is active.

Rewards will be distributed based on two factors in order to ensure an equitable distribution of LEAP token rewards

Number of transactions per user per day - (20% of daily reward pool)

1. 20% of a given day’s reward allocation will be distributed based on number of transactions per user per day. The reward pool will be distributed evenly across all transactions made on that day.
2. There will be an upper limit of 5 transactions per user per day that will be eligible for reward

Total transaction amount per user per day - (80% of daily reward pool)

1. 80% of a given day’s reward allocation will be distributed based on total transaction amount per user per day. The reward pool will be distributed using a weighted average of each eligible user’s daily transaction amount.
2. The team will take into account all user transactions on that day to calculate total transaction amount on that specific day.
3. There will be an upper limit of $10,000 of transaction amount per day that will be eligible for reward.
4. Example 1 - user deposits 5,000 UST ($5,000) and stakes 30 LUNA (say $3,000), this will count as 2 transactions with a total transaction amount of $8,000 for the reward calculation purpose.
5. Example 2 - user deposits 5,000 UST ($5,000) and stakes 90 LUNA (say $9,000), this will count as 2 transactions with a total transaction amount of $10,000 for the reward calculation purpose.
6. Example 3 - user deposits 14,000 UST ($14,000) on Anchor and then withdraws 6,000 UST ($6,000) form Anchor, this will count as 1 transaction with a total transaction amount of $8,000 for the reward calculation purpose
7. The $ equivalent of a transaction is calculated using either Terra Market or CoinGecko USD price of the relevant token (amount of LUNA staked, amount of ANC swapped, etc.) at the time when the transaction was made.

Notes:

• There will be an upper limit on rewards of 1,000 LEAP tokens per user per day
• Transaction data will be calculated (both number of transactions & total transaction amount) at a user level. That means that all wallets associated with a particular seed phrase (and all their respective transactions) will be factored in to the primarily wallet’s eligibility and allocation for reward on a given day.
  • E.g. If you have three separate wallets associated with the seed phrase you created on Leap or imported to Leap, all transactions associated with any of those three wallets will be combined to determine reward for a given day.
  • An associated wallet is any additional wallet nested under the same seed phrase. This also includes any wallets imported later using private key or Ledger.
  • In the above text and throughout this document, “wallet” refers to the combination of primarily wallet and all associated wallets.
  • The accrued rewards amount shown on the Leap wallet UI (see screenshot below) refers to the total rewards earned across all associated wallets.
• Reward Timing is as follows:
  • Days start at 00:00 GMT and end at 23:59 GMT
  • Rewards will be calculated within 24 hours after the end of the day during which the eligible transaction was performed
    • Example: If you perform eligible transactions on Monday, your account will reflect your accrued rewards for those eligible transactions by end of day (23:59) on Tuesday.

How/When will I be rewarded?

You’ll be able to track your accrued rewards in-wallet.

The LEAP token rewards you accrue will linearly vest over a 6 month period. The first tranche of vested tokens will be available as airdrops to be claimed at the time of the Token Generation Event (~3 months from now). The remaining tokens will continue to vest linearly (till end of 6th month) and will be available for claim on a monthly basis after TGE. You will need to pay gas fees to claim the tokens.

Example (this is for information purposes only):

• If you are rewarded 120 LEAP tokens today. In 3 months you will have vested 60 LEAP tokens.
• If token generation happens exactly 3 months from now, you will be able to claim your 60 vested LEAP tokens immediately after the token generation event (first tranche).
• Under the current scenario, you would then vest ~20 LEAP tokens every month after the token generation event, till the end of the 6th month. These will be available to claim to your wallet on a monthly basis.

  The transactions need to be made in-wallet (inside Leap’s UI) in order to be deemed eligible for LEAP token reward. Note that transactions made on protocol dApps where you connect with Leap wallet are not eligible for rewards. Also, rewards are calculated at the end of each day, so you’ll need to wait till end of day to see the reward amount show up on your Rewards page.
