About 

In order to drive the adoption of Kadena’s Public Blockchain, the Ambassador Program will seek to accomplish several tasks:

• Incentivize community members to create informative collateral
• Strengthen activity on their social media channels with active moderators
• Encourage the creation of community channels to lead organic community growth

There are currently three pillars of the Ambassador Program: Content Creators, Moderators, and Community Channel Leaders. Each one of these pillars is essential in continuing to establish Kadena’s brand and presence in the crypto community.

Content Creators

Content Creators amplify Kadena’s brand by educating the wider community about Kadena through informative collateral whether visual or audio. This content can include but is not limited to blogs, graphic designs, podcasts, videos, or tutorials.

Eligiblity Requirements for Contributors

• Member of Telegram or Discord for at least a month, priority given to those who have been members for a longer period of time

Eligiblity Requirements for Ambassadors

• Member of Telegram or Discord for at least a month, priority given to those who have been members for a longer period of time
• Provide at least 2 - 3 pieces of work you’ve published in the past, Kadena related or not, as an example of what content you want to create

Basic Criteria for Assessing Content

• Graphics, text, articles, blogs, how-to guides, audio and/or visual content (other ideas can be submitted on the application form)
• Informs the public about the technical/social aspects of Kadena 
• Must be grammatically correct
• Includes Kadena’s brand
• Is up-to-date and is well presented
• Must respect Kadena’s Code of Conduct 
• Price and trading-related content, i.e. speculation, is not eligible for rewards

Rewards

​Rewards are given based on a tier list, which depends on the amount of work and research you’ve put into your content.

Tier 1 - $300 USD for Ambassadors / $150 USD for Contributors (Cap at 20 per month)

• Content takes a considerable amount of research and time to complete
• If it’s a blog post/article, it should be 800 words or more
• More technical or detailed than other tiers

Tier 2 - $150 USD for Ambassadors / $75 USD for Contributors (Cap at 30 per month)

• Content takes some research, time, and accompanying graphics to complete
• If it’s a blog post/article, it should be 800 words or less

Tier 3 -  $30 USD for Ambassadors / $15 USD for Contributors (Cap at 50 per month)

• Content is easy to create/write
• If it’s a blog post/article, it should 500 words or less

Tier S

• Special projects can be submitted for more rewards than the other tiers, depending on the length and complexity of the content

The difference in Tier 1 and 2 compared to Tier 3 depends on how you use technical knowledge. For example, creating a how-to guide or translating an existing content would be a Tier 3 content since it is created by compiling existing knowledge. However, a Tier 1 and 2 content requires you to take existing knowledge and give an analysis of the information using your own understanding, insight, and experience. For example, comparing Kadena’s public blockchain to other projects requires you to take existing knowledge and shape it into an audio, visual, and/or written content that uses your unique understanding, insight, and experience of the subject.

At the time of the launch of the Ambassador Program, team will be limiting the number of Ambassador Content Creators to 10.

Moderators

Moderators are essential to keeping official online social media channels up to date as well as providing a welcoming environment for community members to come together.

Eligiblity Requirements for Moderators

• Member of Telegram or Discord for at least three months, priority given to those who have been members for a longer period of time
• Must be active on Kadena’s social channels

Basic Responsibilities

• Welcome new members to the community and ensure knowledge is kept up to date
• Moderate the social channel for any fear, uncertainty, and doubt, or comments that break the community guidelines and the Code of Conduct
• Follow and enforce Kadena's Code of Conduct

Rewards

• Moderators are awarded $75 worth of KDA per month for the social channel they manage

Community Channel Leaders

Community channels are vital in facilitating discussions that are more niche than in their own official channels. Whether these channels are used to discuss ways to bring awareness to the crypto community or discuss Kadena in another language, Kadena is determined to help foster organic community growth. There will be two aspects of a community channel that team’ll support: the Community Leaders and community events.

Community Leaders act similar to Moderators in official channel in that they are necessary for creating a welcoming environment for community members to join into. When applying to be a Community Leader, you must give a brief description of the community channel you want to create and explain how the channel would be beneficial for spreading Kadena’s brand. In addition, Community Leaders can create rules more or less strict than in official channels. However, Community Leaders must ensure that there is no misinformation being spread and uphold Kadena’s brand and Code of Conduct.

Kadena recognizes that community events are crucial in bringing members together to help spread Kadena’s brand. One example of a community-led event was a community Twitter contest to see who can tweet and retweet the most. This brought the community together to drive Kadena’s brand on a social media platform. To encourage similar community events, team plan on funding community-led events that seek to promote Kadena’s awareness.

At the time of the launch of the Ambassador Program, team will be limiting the number of community channels to 5.

Eligiblity Requirements for Community Channel Leaders

• Member of Telegram or Discord for at least three months, priority given to those who have been members for a longer period of time
• Must be active on Kadena’s social channels
• Community channel must be new and serve in growing Kadena's brand

Basic Responsibilities

• Welcome new members to the community and ensure knowledge is kept up to date
• Moderate your community social channel for any fear, uncertainty, and doubt
• Follow and enforce Kadena's Code of Conduct

Rewards

• Community Channel Leaders are awarded $75 worth of KDA per month for their community channel
• Grants for community led events are given on an as-needed basis -- you can inquire more once you have been accepted

Ambassador Privileges

As community members who promote the best of Kadena, you get privileges such as:

• Token grants for contributions
• Exclusive Ambassador role on Discord Server and Telegram Channel
• Dedicated invite-only Ambassador Channel on Discord and Telegram
• Gain behind-the-scene access to the project’s roadmap
• More involvement in the project’s decision-making process by providing direct feedback to core team members
