Details
Testing of the Flashstaking Protocol will be done using the web3 frontend. The password will be removed once the testnet officially starts.
Round 2 introduces bug fixes and additional features such as the possibility to stake using two different Flash Strategies as well as multiple Flashback contracts.
For a basic introduction to the protocol and its functionalities please see the documentation here.
There are two ways to participate
- by reaching a Top 25 Leaderboard ranking
- by discovering and reporting a bug
Leaderboard — $2,500 USDC and 7,500 Flash
By performing the following tasks points will be collected. The top 25 leaderboard ranks will be rewarded. A maximum of 250 points can be reached. The leaderboard will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
Flashstake Testnet Round 2 Scoring
Once the testnet has launched, you can check the leaderboard rankings here.
**The leaderboard may not be online immediately at 5 PM UTC and could experience up to a 6-hour delay. Leaderboard rankings may be subject to change therefore these rankings cannot be taken as final. The Flashstake team will review results at the end of the competition and make changes where required (if any).**
Submit Bugs
- Front-end Related Bugs: Please submit any front-end-related bugs you discover using this typeform.
- Smart Contract or Protocol Related Bugs: Please report any potential exploits or general smart contract logic inconsistencies (i.e.any bugs that are not front-end related) using this typeform.
Participants have until Monday, July 18th 5 PM UTC to submit bugs. Please note that using the wrong forms or submitting low-quality and/or spam may result in blacklisting.
Rewards
Rewards will be allocated in the following way:
Leaderboard Rewards
$2,500 USD & 7,500 Flash will be awarded to the Leaderboard Top 25 on a per-round basis. If multiple participants reach the maximum possible points (250) the rewards will be split evenly between these, (e.g. 100 USD and 300 FLASH each).
Bug Submission Rewards
All bugs submitted will receive an independent review from the Blockzero Labs Core and be given a ‘Severity Score’. Based on the Severity Score and the total number of bugs found, exact rewards will be determined (see disclaimer section below).
Smart contract bugs are more favorably rewarded than frontend issues. The more severe a bug, the higher the severity score and the higher the payout. However, don’t be discouraged to report anything you find. Even previously-undiscovered typos will be eligible for a reward, so have a close look.

Disclaimers
- Participants have until Monday, July 18th 5 PM UTC to submit bugs for round 2 of the competition. Subsequent rounds will be announced separately.
- Bugs are rewarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. This means, if two people submit the same bug, the person who submitted the Typeform first will be the only person eligible for compensation.
- Not all bugs will be treated the same or given the same compensation.
- Bugs discovered that would result in a loss of funds on the protocol will be judged with the highest Severity Scores. In case multiple valid submissions are made the Blockzero Labs Core Citizens decide how to split the rewards.
- If you have any questions about this process or would like to discuss the security of the protocol please join FlashStake on Discord in the #flashstake channel.
- For information regarding other launch competitions, please visit flashstake.io.
